    OUR STORY

ASAROGA began long before it had a name. Since 1945, jewelry has been part of the Asatourian family, shaped by hand, carried across borders, and passed from one generation to the next. What began as a craft became a livelihood, then a family tradition. Today, ASAROGA is the third generation of that story, carrying forward the hands, knowledge, and values of those who came before us.

    Where It Began

Our story begins in 1945, when the Asatourian family's journey in jewelry first took shape.
There was no brand then. No collection. No thought of what it might become decades later. There was simply a workbench, a set of tools, and the patience to learn a craft properly.
Jewelry was made slowly. Metal was heated, shaped, polished, examined, and sometimes started again. The work demanded patience, but it also gave something back. With enough care, something ordinary could become something deeply personal, something another person might keep for the rest of their life.
Over time, the workshop became part of the family itself. The sound of tools, the heat of the furnace, the scratched surfaces of the workbench, these were ordinary parts of everyday life.
And without anyone planning it, the craft began to move from one pair of hands to another.

    What We Carried With Us

Our family's life did not remain in one place. Like so many families searching for a new beginning, the Asatourians crossed borders, left familiar places behind, and learned to build again somewhere new. Homes changed. Languages changed. Life changed.
But the most important things came with us. You do not pack craftsmanship into a suitcase. It travels in memory. In instinct. In knowing how metal should feel beneath your hands. In recognizing when something is finished, not because a machine tells you, but because years of experience do.
It lives in the standards you refuse to compromise. That knowledge survived every move.
Wherever our family found itself, there was eventually another workbench, another set of tools, another person watching and learning. What had started as a way to make a living had become something much deeper. It had become part of our family.

    The Story Continues

There is a photograph in our family from July 1983. A young boy stands behind a workbench surrounded by tools, molds, scales, and machinery. He is simply going about his day inside the world his family built around him.
At the time, it was probably just a photograph. Today, it means something very different. Because this is how traditions survive. Not through a ceremony or a formal handoff, but through years spent beside one another. Watching. Asking questions. Making mistakes. Trying again. Learning why the smallest detail matters.
Eventually, the child watching becomes the person responsible for carrying those lessons forward. Today, that responsibility has reached us.
ASAROGA is our expression of everything that came before it, translated for a new time. The tools are different now. Technology has changed what can be designed and how precisely it can be made. The world in which we create jewelry would be almost unrecognizable to the one our family knew in 1945.
But what we believe has changed very little. Take your time. Respect the material. Care about the details nobody else notices. And never create something you would not be proud to put your family's name on.
That is what we carry into every ASAROGA piece.

Made to Become Part of Your Story

Growing up around jewelry taught us something that has very little to do with gold or diamonds. The most meaningful pieces become part of people's lives. A ring remembers a proposal. A necklace can bring back the person who gave it to you. A piece worn for years can eventually belong to a daughter, a son, or someone who was not even born when it was first made.
Jewelry has a remarkable way of carrying people and moments forward. That is why ASAROGA exists.
We are not interested in creating something beautiful only for the day it is purchased. We want to create pieces that become more meaningful because they were lived in. Pieces that collect memories, travel through life with you, and perhaps one day find their way into another generation.
Our family's jewelry story began in 1945. We hope the pieces we create today become a small part of yours.

    For Ansha

At the heart of the story we carry today is our grandfather, Ansha. To someone else, the photographs on this page may look like scenes from an old workshop. To us, they are home.
They remind us where our hands learned their patience, where our standards came from, and why the name we put on something matters.
Ansha, we hope you would be proud of what we are building. There is a part of you in it. In the details we refuse to overlook. In the care we put into our work. In the belief that if something is worth making, it is worth making properly.
We love you. We miss you.
Thank you for what you built.
Thank you for what you taught us.
    Thank you for everything.
ASAROGA is our next chapter, but our story will always begin with you.
